I am feeling crazy inspired right now with the no chance to share this energy with anyone. I am listening to the Hotel Cafe Tour music and it is amazing… I kind of forgot about new music. Since leaving my holiday job I haven’t spent much time searching for new music as I haven’t had an active internet connections… this is very different for me… I spent a good part of my time at the holiday job looking for new songs and finding some amazing artists. I am just now reminded how much I love the process. I long to have the opportunity, as Zach Braff does, to share my amazing discoveries. Also, I want to cultivate my own craft. I am overcome with the desire to meet all these talented people and be mentored by them. I want to live where they live, talk to them, feel the way they feel. The life I crave is one of inspiration and creativity. I want to meet and be surrounded by folks like me whose hearts ache when the right chords are played.

So here I am on my tiny island on the West Coast of BC thinking of all of you out there; Zach Braff, Matt Costa, Cary Brothers, Dashboard Confessional, Rachel Yamagata, Josh Radin, Ben Lee… hoping you will reach out and lift me up into the world you live in. Help me fill my life and world with music, help me give mine away. You are all already my inspirations.
